Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Solar panels, also called photovoltaic (PV) cells, harness sunlight and, with the help of an inverter, transform it into usable electricity for homes and businesses.

To secure your Net Energy Metering (NEM) benefits, you need approvals from authorities like SEDA and TNB. We will handle all applications and submissions to the authorities.

We will schedule a site visit for physical inspection of your roof condition and provide recommendations if there are any damages.

You will need to be a registered TNB consumer in Peninsular Malaysia with your name on both the property title and the bill.

The electricity generated by your solar panels is first used to power your home or business. If your solar system produces more electricity than you consume, the excess power is sent back to the grid. Under NEM, you receive credits for the excess electricity supplied to the grid. These credits can offset your electricity bill for the month.

These credits will reduce your TNB bills in the following months, up to December 31st each year.

The contract lasts for 10 years.

We cannot predict if the government will extend the contract. Alternatively, by then, you should be able to implement battery solutions at a lower cost, then you will be using it strictly for self consumption.

Applicants must be first-time Net Energy Metering (NEM) Rakyat applicants who are residential customers of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) under Tariff A, and must be Malaysian citizens. The application period is from 1 April to 31 December 2024, with solar PV systems operational by 31st March 2025.

We offer workmanship warranty to cover damages caused during the solar installation.

We offer 2 years complimentary operation and maintenance, which excludes panel cleaning.

All our inverters include a monitoring app that lets you track the system’s performance.

Panel product warranty 12 years, linear power warranty 25 years. Inverter product warranty 10 years. Mounting structure warranty against corrosion 10 years.

This depends on the price of panels and inverters at that point in time.
